This historic home was purchased for its magnificent front porch with stunning harbor view. Built in 1899, the house had suffered considerable wear and tear. A failing old back addition was replaced with a new larger one with more porches. At the front, windows and dormers were subtly added. Inside, an important atrium paired with entirely re-imagined spaces to provide better circulation and to increase views. With extensive input from a local interior designer, historic integrity was retained through all the fine detailing. Newly finished 3rd floor renovations – including play area and adjacent office – prepare the house for its new history in the making.
